Portobello Market

Hoy he ido al mercadillo de Portobello, en la zona española/italiana de Londres. Me gusta ir allí porque los sábados el mercado es mucho más grande y porque hay un supermercado español que vende tomate frito (en serio, ingleses, no sabéis lo que son unos buenos espaguetis a la boloñesa). Después de llenarme la mochila de latas de tomate (con lo cual mi espalda sufría, pero mi estómago pensaba (sí, mi barriga a veces piensa) en los deliciosos macarrones que me comeré un día de estos), me he pasado un par de horas paseando por el mercadillo y haciendo fotos. Hay un poco de todo: antigüedades, plata, ropa nueva, ropa de segunda mano, souvenirs, frutas y verduras, muebles, puestos de comida, buenos músicos y sitios donde tomarte un té, of course.

Today I've been to Portobello Market, in the Spanish/Italian part of London. I like to go there on Saturdays because the market is bigger and has more things, and also because there is a Spanish Supermarket that sells fried tomato (I think English people don't know what real spaghetti bolognese tastes like!). After filling my bag with cans of fried tomato (which wasn't good for my back, but good for my stomach because I was thinking about the delicious plate of pasta I'll be eating in a few days), I've spent a few hours wandering round the market and taking pictures. There's a bit of everything: antiques, silver, new clothes, second hand clothes, souvenirs, fruits and vegetables, furniture, food, good musicians and, of course, places where you can have a cup of tea.
